I was told that ammonite crabs give better afk xp at higher levels, and I'm 97 ranged, so I do the quest and head over to these crabs. Finding a 3-crab spot is absurdly hard. At sand crabs, you can usually get a 4-spot after 1-10 world hops depending on the time of day.
If you're going to be so afk that you will log out from the afk timer then just go for a 2 crab spot, way less crowded. Otherwise just hop worlds a bunch until you find an empty 3 spot, and as long as you don't take like 2 min to reset agro even if someone crashes you they will hop 9/10 times if you say you were reseting agro.
