7 de ene. de 2016 · The fix for this is all in the check valve. It needs to be taken apart the bore cleaned as well as the valve so that it slides up and down the bore with Zero restriction, problem solved. Over the years owned three Shovelheads all with this mod the bikes never left a mark.
13 de oct. de 2009 · The S&S reed valve breather really is hit or miss on shovels. I have 3 shovels and all have the reed valve. 2 are fine and one pisses oil constantly. I agree with dragstews, about the overall condition of your motor.
