Church Point is a small neighbourhood situated in Mona Vale, New South Wales, Australia. The population is about 1,300 people and it has been around since 1838 when it was founded by Sir Thomas Mitchell. Church Point was first established as a military outpost for soldiers who were guarding convicts that had been sent to work in the area.
