Ghost in the Shell is a 1995 adult animated neo-noir cyberpunk action thriller film directed by Mamoru Oshii and adapted by frequent Oshii collaborator Kazunori Itō. The film is based on the manga of the same name by Masamune Shirow. It stars the voices of Atsuko Tanaka, Akio Ōtsuka, and Iemasa Kayumi.
A cyborg policewoman and her partner hunt a mysterious and powerful hacker called the Puppet Master. It is the year 2029. Technology has advanced so far that cyborgs are commonplace. In addition, human brains can connect to the internet directly.
Título original: Kokaku Kidotai (Ghost in the Shell). Sinopsis: Año 2029. En una enorme ciudad asiática, una mujer robot policía -cyborg- investiga las siniestras actividades de un misteriososo hacker, un supercriminal que está invadiendo las autopistas de la información.
