Donnie Yen (en chino, 甄子丹 cantonés: Yan Ji Daan; mandarín: Zhēn Zǐ Dān Guangzhou, 27 de julio de 1963) es un artista marcial, actor y coreógrafo chino. Yen es considerado por muchos como uno de los actores asiáticos de acción más populares de los tiempos recientes.
Actor: Ip Man. Donnie Yen was born in Guangzhou, China. His mother, Bow-sim Mark, was a kung fu master and his father, Kylster Yen, a newspaper editor and amateur musician. When Donnie was just two years old, the family moved to Hong Kong and then, when he was 11, to Boston, Massachusetts.

In 2008, Yen starred in Ip Man, a semi-biographical account of Ip Man, the Wing Chun master of Bruce Lee. Ip Man marked Yen's fourth collaboration with director Wilson Yip, reuniting him with his co-stars in SPL: Sha Po Lang, Sammo Hung and Simon Yam.

The film focuses on events surrounding Ip that took place in the city of Foshan between the 1930s to 1940s during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Directed by Wilson Yip, the film stars Donnie Yen in the lead role, and features fight choreography by Sammo Hung.
