Torchwood is a plant that is unlocked after completing S-2. He sets certain plants' projectiles on fire, causing them to deal higher damage based on the number of Torchwoods that those projectiles pass through. He also does rapid fire damage to any zombies close enough to him, and being a fire plant he is immune to frost and can warm nearby plants.
Torchwood is ridiculously cracked in this game. Definitely worth the 175 sun at level 1, and its sun cost goes down very quickly as you level it up. It basically functions as Torchwood, Endurian, and Jalapeno in one plant
