In 1988, Canadian synthpop group Kon Kan sampled Lynn Anderson's version of "Rose Garden" for their song "I Beg Your Pardon". The song became a major hit in several countries including the United Kingdom where it reached the top 5, and the United States, where it reached the top 20 on the Hot 100.
