Threshold are an English progressive metal band formed in Surrey in the late 1980s. The guitarist and producer Karl Groom has been the band's only consistent member. History[edit] 1988–1992[edit] Threshold began their career in 1988, initially playing covers of metal groups like Ratt and Testament.
