Lisa was created by Garry and Wyatt because of the fact that they were the most unpopular and most picked on kids in highschool. They soon realize that their little creation is not just a hot and sizzling woman they created; she also has amazing powers and abilities that she can use at will.

Kelly Emberg was originally cast as Lisa, but was replaced after a couple of days of filming.Kelly LeBrock's character name was inspired by Apple Computer's first GUI computer, the Apple Lisa.Demi Moore and Robin Wright auditioned for the part of Lisa. Their scene partner for their screentests was Mikul Robins, who appears in the movie as one of The Weenies.Kelly LeBrock initially turned down the role of Lisa, as she was vacationing in France at the time, and was "having too much fun riding horses on the beach".She has appeared in many films including Weird Science (1985), Hard to Kill (1990), Wrongfully Accused (1998) and The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2001). Weird Science is a 1985 American science fantasy teen comedy film written and directed by John Hughes and starring Anthony Michael Hall, Ilan Mitchell-Smith, and Kelly LeBrock. It is based on the 1951 pre- Comics Code comic "Made of the Future" by Al Feldstein, which appeared in the magazine of the same name.
Two unpopular teenagers, Gary and Wyatt, fail at all attempts to be accepted by their peers. Their desperation to be liked leads them to "create" a woman via their computer.
