Basil is the tritagonist of OMORI. Once a kindhearted young boy, a tragic turn of events left him a miserable shell of his former self. Depending on the choices of the player, Basil may redeem himself for his past traumatic actions, or fall from grace through an unprecedented and shocking end.

Basil has like less than a 100 lines of dialogue in the real world, partly because of how he spends an entire in game day out of comission, partly because Omocat didn't want him to be a temporary party member or be part of any sidequest that helps flesh him out for some reason.
