Charles Sackville-Germain, 5th Duke of Dorset, was a British Peer and Politician. Charles was appointed as Receiver General of Jamaica from1776-1815. [5] He was appointed Privy Counsellor in 1821, and he also served as Master of the Horse between 1821-1827 and briefly in 1835. [6]
