Princess Olga Andreevna Romanoff (Russian: О́льга Андре́евна Рома́нова, romanized: Ólga Andréevna Románova; born 8 April 1950) is a British aristocrat and member of the House of Romanov. She is the grandniece of Nicholas II of Russia and Alexandra Feodorovna, the last emperor and empress of Russia.
Olga ( Church Slavonic: Ольга; [2] [a] Old Norse: Helga; [3] c. 890–925 – 11 July 969) [4] was a regent of Kievan Rus' for her son Sviatoslav from 945 until 960. Following her baptism, Olga took the name Elenа. [b] She is known for her subjugation of the Drevlians, a tribe that had killed her husband Igor.
