  1. Professor Kersti Börjars (born 1960) [1] is a linguist who is Master of St Catherine's College, Oxford . Education.   2. Kersti joined St Catherine’s College from the University of Manchester in January 2020. She was appointed as a Lecturer in Linguistics there in 1994, and promoted to Professor in 2002. She was appointed Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs in the newly formed Faculty of Humanities in January 2004 and remained in this role until January 2008.
