Sight and Sound, published by the British Film Institute, has conducted a poll of the greatest films every 10 years since 1952.
1 de dic. de 2022 · Revealed: the results of the 2022 Sight and Sound Greatest Films of All Time poll. For the first time in the poll’s 70-year history, a film by a female filmmaker takes the top spot: Chantal Akerman’s Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles.
Once a decade Sight and Sound asks critics to select the Greatest Films of All Time. In our biggest ever poll, conducted in 2012, 846 critics, programmers and curators from around the world nominated ten best movies ever made – and the results gave us a new top film, ending the 50-year reign of Citizen Kane.
