V for Vendetta is a 2005 dystopian political action film directed by James McTeigue (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by the Wachowskis. It is based on the 1988–89 DC Vertigo Comics limited series of the same title by Alan Moore, David Lloyd, and Tony Weare.

Sinopsis. En un futuro no muy lejano, Gran Bretaña se ha convertido en un país totalitario dirigido con mano de hierro por un tirano (John Hurt). Una tarde, tras el toque de queda, Evey (Natalie Portman) es rescatada en plena calle por un misterioso enmascarado cuyo nombre es "V" (Hugo Weaving).
