With GRAMMY-winning saxophonist and SFJAZZ Collective member David Sánchez presenting his newest project, Carib at SFJAZZ on April 5 (part of the African Diaspora series), we invited him to open up about his music, his inspirations and his native Puerto Rico.
Soy David Jonathan Sánchez Quintanilla, nací el 25 de octubre de 1982. Hice mis estudios de educación básica y media superior en General Terán, Nuevo León. En el año 2000 inicié mis estudios de Licenciatura en la Universidad de Harvard. Luego en el 2007 comencé mi Maestría en Finanzas en la misma universidad.
