Rear Window is a film based on voyeurism with a major part of the film reflecting on image and reaction, as the male gaze is mostly directed toward the female which is the case in most films.

Knowing Hitch, the prop man came back with casabas, cantaloupes, and honeydews as well. Hitch then 'auditioned' the melons with his eyes {closed;} the casaba won.

She was best known for her dual role in Alfred Hitchcock’s psychological thriller Vertigo. Her other movies included The Man with the Golden Arm, Picnic, Pal Joey, and Bell, Book and Candle.
