22 de may. de 2024 · Franz Joseph was soon joined by three younger brothers: Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian (born 1832, the future Emperor Maximilian of Mexico); Archduke Karl Ludwig (born 1833, father of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria), and Archduke Ludwig Viktor (born 1842), and a sister, Archduchess Maria Anna (born 1835), who died at the age of four.

She was their fifth child and third daughter. She was just 15 years old when she married William, Duke of Jülich-Cleves-Berg, the brother of Anne of Cleves , who was briefly Queen of England.

The groom grew up in Spain, Brazil and Great Britain. The bride is the eldest of the six daughters of Count Riprand von und zu Arco-Zinneberg and his wife née Archduchess Maria Beatrix of Austria.
