Hace 5 días · The King has accepted a patronage from Gordonstoun, his former school in Scotland infamously portrayed in the Netflix series 'The Crown'. His Majesty has become patron of the Gordonstoun Association to mark the first anniversary of his Coronation, a role previously held by his father, the late Duke of Edinburgh, who also attended the school.

Hace 4 días · At Gordonstoun, Charles achieved five O-levels and two A-levels, credentials that secured him a place at Trinity College, Cambridge, to study archaeology and anthropology. In the previous year's coronation festivities, the King selected four pipers from Gordonstoun to perform at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh during the Honours of Scotland ceremony.

It has first-class facilities for these activities which include, in addition to all the normal subjects and many outdoor pursuits, expeditions, seamanship and a wide variety of rescue services.
