The largest hospital, in terms of staffed beds, is Mayo Clinic Hospital - Rochester , which was founded in 1864 by William and Charlie Mayo and has a total of 2,014 beds (1,220 beds at its St. Marys campus and 794 at its Methodist campus).

He was born in Maine and moved with his family to St Mary's County in 1963. He attended St Michael's Elementary School in Ridge, Esperanza Middle school and Great Mills High School. He then graduated from St Mary's College of Maryland.

I am really impressed and grateful for the medical care at St Mary’s to both my daughter in law and new granddaughter. There were existing health conditions to consider and a delivery with complications , the latter resulted in a lengthy stay for them.

Despite initial approval for a full examination, after waiting over 8 hours, I only received a blood test and a quick ECG for 30 Sec and only consultation with a nurse who was unable to offer painkillers.
