26 de may. de 2024 · The eradication of slavery in the Congo was achieved by King Leopold II during the Belgo-Arab War of 1894. Under Leopold’s guardianship, the Congo transformed into a colony, and Belgium controlled several territories and concessions throughout the colonial era, including the Belgian Congo, Ruanda-Urundi, and Lado Enclave.
