15 de may. de 2024 · Based on the infamous 1963 divorce case and sex scandal, A Very British Scandal focuses on the divorce of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll: Ian Campbell (Paul Bettany) and Margaret Campbell (Claire Foy). The public fallout of their relationship led to one of the most notorious, extraordinary, and brutal legal cases of the 20th Century.
As far as I know, "A Very British Scandal" is a follow-up to this show, but it has nothing to do with it. It's a completely different story, being based on the real divorce of Ian Campbell, Duke of Argyll and Margaret Campbell, Duchess of Argyll, taking, of course, liberty in portraying the whole case.
