Margaret Stuart (or Stewart) (c. 1591 – 4 August 1639) was the daughter of James Stewart, 2nd Earl of Moray, and Elizabeth Stuart, 2nd Countess of Moray. In September 1603, she married Charles Howard, 1st Earl of Nottingham.

Catherine was appointed First Lady of the Bedchamber by 1572. Her daughter Elizabeth, the queen's goddaughter, was a maid of honour from 1576 until 1583, the year of her marriage.
