John Neville (vers 1431 – 14 avril 1471), 1 er marquis Montagu, fut l'un des chefs de la faction de la Maison d'York durant la guerre des Deux-Roses, issue de la querelle Percy-Neville. 11 de ago. de 2009 · Sir John Neville, 1st and last Marquess of Montagu was born circa 1431. 1 He was the son of Richard de Neville, 5th Earl of Salisbury and Alice Montagu, Countess of Salisbury. 1 He married Isabel Ingaldesthorpe, daughter of Sir Edmund Ingaldesthorpe and Joan Tiptoft, on 25 April 1457. 1 He died on 14 April 1471, killed in action. 1 He was buried at Bisham Abbey, Berkshire, England G. 2

John Neville, 1st Marquess of Montagu (c.1431-1471) was a 15th-century English noble who fought alongside his family in the Wars of the Roses. He was involved in the Percy-Neville feud and fought against the Lancastrians at the first Battle of St Albans.
