  1. Celebrating 300 years. Raine's celebrated its Tercentenary on 8th May 2019 at St Paul's Cathedral. An evensong service to celebrate our Foundation was very well attended by current and past students and teachers. It was a bittersweet moment as a consultation by LBTH and LDBS had been started to close Raine's Foundation School.

Preserved in facade of modern school are the 2 original figures of boy and girl and the original tablet inscribed "Come in and learn your duty to God and Man, 1719" from the first Raine's School in Raine Street, Wapping (qv).

  6. Raine's Foundation School was a Church of England voluntary aided school in Bethnal Green, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The school closed in August 2020.
