Stortinget er den lovgjevande forsamlinga i Noreg. Tinget har 169 representantar som avgjer dei fleste sakene samla. [1] Tidlegare var Stortinget delt i to avdelingar, Odelstinget og Lagtinget, ved handsaming av lovsaker. Lovsakene blir no handsama av eit samla Storting, men ein ny lov må vedtakast med same ordlyd to gonger.
