Dateline. January 6, 2007. It’s been an interesting few months for CBC Winnipeg News at Six anchor Janet Stewart. Stewart, 39, the popular anchor at CTV Winnipeg, surprised many when she announced her departure from CTV to join CBC. She made the announcement on-air at CTV on Nov. 10, saying that the move to CBC would be effective immediately.
