26 de ene. de 2024 · Liszt was devastated by Adam's death and withdrew to a monastery for a time. His mother, Anna Lager came to look after him in Paris where she remained til her death in the 1860s. He soon became an established performer and teacher who was able to introduce Chopin to the musical world on his arrival in Paris in 1830.
28 de nov. de 2020 · En el verano de 1827, Liszt enfermó. Adam Liszt fue con su hijo a Boulogne-sur-Mer, una ciudad balneario junto al Canal de la Mancha. Mientras Liszt se estaba recuperando, su padre cayó enfermo de tifus y falleció el 28 de agosto de ese mismo año. Fue enterrado en Boulogne y Franz nunca visitó su tumba.
