The toughest clowns of the music industry are back with a new album! I'm not talking about Insane Clown Posse, but Mobb Deep. Yeah, so I guess you pretty much know where this review is going. They are long done and the only reason they are still able sell 1500 albums per release, is the fact that a lot of people still hang on to The Infamous.
Mobb Deep’s 1995 classic, The Infamous, shattered those fantasies. Throughout the album, released when Prodigy and Havoc were just 20 years old, the pair don’t come off like cinematic heroes; they seem like traumatized teens just trying to survive in Queensbridge—America’s largest housing project, right over the bridge from Manhattan’s old-money Upper East Side.
Im April 2009 erschien das achte Studioalbum der Gruppe, The Safe Is Cracked. Die erste Single war Don’t Play. Der Vertrag mit G-Unit Records lief im November 2009 aus. Im Jahr 2014 erschien das Album The Infamous Mobb Deep als Doppel-CD, wobei die erste CD The Infamous Mobb Deep hieß, die zweite The Infamous Sessions.
