During a multi-decade career he appeared in more than 100 films, including Alfie (1966), Get Carter (1971), Hannah and Her Sisters (1986), Cider House Rules (1999), and Inception (2010).
BIOGRAPHY. On the 14th March, 1933, Michael Caine was born Maurice Joseph Micklewhite in St Olave’s Hospital, Rotherhithe, Bermondsey in South London to parents Ellen Frances Marie (nee Burchell) and Maurice Joseph Micklewhite. Michael’s father worked as a Billingsgate Fish Market porter and his mother was a charwoman.
