Spencer Compton, 1st Earl of Wilmington, KG, KB, PC (1674–2 July 1743) was a British Whig statesman and Prime Minister of Great Britain. Compton served in government from 1715, and as the head of government from 1742 until his death in 1743.

Spencer Compton, 1 er comte de Wilmington, (c. 1674 - 2 juillet 1743) est un homme d'État britannique whig qui est sans interruption au gouvernement de 1715 jusqu'à sa mort. Il siège à la Chambre des communes anglaise et britannique entre 1698 et 1728, puis est élevé à la pairie et siège à la Chambre des lords .
