Football has been played at the university since 1890 and at Faurot Field since 1926. In December 1925 construction began on a new stadium for the Tigers in order to accommodate larger crowds. Originally known as Memorial Stadium after university alumni who perished in World War I, the $350,000 was completed when the Tigers played their first game against Tulane on October 2, 1926.

19 de mar. de 2015 · Restricted between 7am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, but are open after 5pm and on weekends. Some spaces within lots are restricted at all times. Some lots near Faurot Field are restricted on home football game weekends. Please read the signs at lot entrances and any signs at specific spaces.
We went to the USC game with a busload of folks and we parked at Truman's Landing, near the stadium. If you check the photos for Faurot Field, we posted a photo of that lot as part of my review. There is a free shuttle that runs from that lot directly to the stadium every 15 minutes.
