Anna Maria van Schurman ( Keulen, 5 november 1607 – Wieuwerd, 4, 5, of 14 mei 1678) was een humaniste, taalkundige, theologe, dichteres en kunstenares. Ze werd in 1636 als eerste vrouwelijke studente in Nederland aan de universiteit toegelaten (Utrecht). [1] Ze correspondeerde met belangrijke geleerden van die tijd.
