Victoria. Vincent Leonard Price Jr. (May 27, 1911 – October 25, 1993) was an American actor. He was well known for his voice and serious but comic attitude in a series of horror movies made in the later part of his career. Price was also an art collector and consultant, with a degree in art history, and lectured and wrote books on the subject.

Fifty two was the age his great grandfather, the American tragedian Lawrence Patrick Barrett, died in 1891. It was the age at which his mother, the American stage actress Edith Barrett Price, had always feared she would die.

Price was born on August 30, 1940 in Los Angeles, California, the son of film legend Vincent Price (1911–1993) and his first wife, actress Edith Barrett (1907–1977). He graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1962 with a B.A. in anthropology.
