Prince Joachim of Denmark, Count of Monpezat, RE, SKmd (Danish pronunciation: [ˈjoːæˌkʰim]; Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian; born 7 June 1969) is a member of the Danish royal family. The younger son of Queen Margrethe II , he is fifth in the line of succession to the Danish throne , following the four children of his elder brother King Frederik X .
Although she had little influence in political matters, Alexandra endeavored to support Danish and Greek interests. Upon Queen Victoria’s death, she became Queen-Empress alongside her husband until his death in 1910, after which she was known as the queen mother. Alexandra passed away at the age of 80 at Sandringham House in Norfolk, England.
