Hace 3 días · By his second wife Joan, daughter and coheir of John Lake, of London, sir Ralph left issue Richard Warren esquire, who married Elizabeth, dau. of sir Roland Lee knt. alderman and lord mayor, and Joan, married to sir Henry Williams alias Cromwell, by whom she had issue Oliver, Robert, Henry, Richard, and Johanna.

She was the widow of Thomas Williams, a Yeoman of the Guard, and the daughter of a Putney shearman, Henry Wyckes, who had served as a gentleman usher to King Henry VII.

(fn. 35) In 1599 Oliver Cromwell first leased the manor for 20 years to Edward Ryder, a London haberdasher, then later in the same year was licensed to alienate it to Ryder.
