The Mackay Estate Gate Lodge is a historic gatehouse located in the Incorporated Village of East Hills in Nassau County, New York, United States. Description [ edit ] The Mackay Estate Gate Lodge was designed in 1899 and built between 1900 and 1902 by architect Stanford White of McKim, Mead & White in the French Baroque style.
From approximately 1970 to 2008, the Mackay Estate Gate Lodge was used as the Country Estates Swim Club. The Mackay Estate Gate Lodge and surrounding 3.2-acre property was sold to G.A.D. Development in 2009. The new owners were required by the Village of East Hills to restore the lodge and maintain it as part of a six-lot subdivision approval.

The trophy is awarded for the most meritorious flight of the year by an Air Force person, persons, or organization. The United States Air Force determines the winner and the National Aeronautic Association presents the trophy to the winner.
