The Black Lotus Triad (who Io, Mayu and Kairi are part of) have no superpowers but exceptional training in martial arts and assassinations. Pentagon Dark also has no supernatural powers but his mentor Vampiro (who either has MPD or actually is a vampire, the show isn't clear on that one) has trained (read: tortured and mindfucked) Pentagon to be sadistic, spiteful and utterly remorseless.

The Triad introduces Stardom competitors Io Shirai, Kairi Hojo, and Mayu Iwatani who will now go by the names Hitokiri, Doku, and Yurei respectively. Lucha Underground hyped their debuts on twitter yesterday: Looks can be deceiving.
19 de oct. de 2020 · A trip to the Lucha Underground temple produced one of the best intergender matches ever. And an implosion of a friendship and tag team led to a grudge match for the ages against Mayu Iwatani. When 2016 was done, wrestling media had plenty of accolades to hand her.

While Lucha Underground gave them new character names, the group wasn't around that long and the members are more well known by other alias. The Black Lotus Triad consists of Kairi Sane (Doku), Mayu Iwatani (Yurei), and Io Shirai (Hitokiri).
15 de mar. de 2021 · Melissa Santos was the love interest of Fenix in Lucha Underground. In real life, she is the love interest of husband Brian Cage. Santos spent time in Impact as an interviewer. Cage went to Impact to win the X-Division Championship and Impact World Championship. He is currently the FTW champ in AEW with Taz as his coach.
10 de mar. de 2022 · This is Lucha Underground, however, and what’s up is down and what’s down is up and these five find a compelling narrative thread through which all this passes through, helped immensely by four of these folk being among the best wrestlers in the world (Black Lotus just has to stand around with a mean face, and she does that well).
