Andrea Gabrieli (c.1533–86) was organist at St Mark's, Venice. He wrote vocal and organ music, developing the antiphonal use of several choirs. His nephew, Giovanni Gabrieli (c.1553–1612), succeeded him as organist at St Mark's.
