The Italian Job Film Cars (1969) Here we will list all the cars used during the filming of the classic British film from 1969. According to the director's commentary on the DVD, despite the publicity the film would give to the Mini, the car's maker, BMC, only provided a token fleet of Minis and the production company had to buy the rest at trade price.
Director Peter Collinson decided that, as it was a very British movie, the cars should be British Minis. Fiat still donated scores of cars for filming, as well as the factory grounds. The authorities refused to close the roads, but the Italian Mafia stepped in and shut whole sections of Turin down for filming.

11 de sept. de 2015 · Fun, groovy and very watchable, The Italian Job is a classic 60s Brit-flick that the whole family can enjoy from start to finish. The Mini action is really the film’s calling card though, and is bound to extract a knowing grin from those who’ve had the pleasure of driving one.
