Bugenhagen, der Reformator Norddeutschlands, Doktor Pommer, Doctor Pomeranus, wie Luther ihn nannte, verdient es weiterhin, in der Erinnerung zu bleiben. Bugenhagen wurde am 24. Juni 1485 im pommerschen Wollin (Insel Wollin, Herzogtum Pommern) geboren [1]. Sein Vater war dort Ratsherr.
