23 de jun. de 2015 · Louise was the only child of Augustus, Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg and his first wife Louise Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Louise’s mother never recovered from childbirth and died eleven days later at the age of 21. Louise’s father Augustus married again in 1802 to Princess Karoline Amalie of Hesse-Kassel.
