5 de jul. de 2024 · The stud was started 35 years ago, when Lawrence and Derek Ralfe bought a small Bonsmara herd from Rob Taylor in the Underberg district. The stud first started as the Kenriet Bonsmara stud in the Kokstad district and was later changed to Up George Bonsmaras when the farm Up George was bought from the original Rumevite Farms in the Elandslaagte area.

Hace 2 días · Julia Peel (30 April 1821 – 14 August 1893). She married George Child Villiers, 6th Earl of Jersey, on 12 July 1841. They had five children. He died in 1859, and she married her second husband, Charles Brandling, on 12 September 1865. Robert Peel (4 May 1822 – 9 May 1895). He married Lady Emily Hay on 17 June 1856.
30 de jun. de 2024 · David Lindsay (1440-1495) was the son of Alexander, 4th Earl of Crawford and succeeded his father as Earl in 1453. He was created Duke of Montrose in 1488 by James III whom he supported during that year's rebellion against the king by supporters of the Duke of Rothesay.
Hace 5 días · 1595-1628. A lieutenant in the English army who stabbed George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham to death in Portsmouth on 23 August 1628. He was hanged at Tyburn and his body sent back to Portsmouth for exhibition where, unexpectedly to the authorities, it was accounted an object of veneration.
