Rosemary’s Baby And Roman Polanski The names attached to Apartment 7A are varied and impressive but, just as noteworthy, is the absence of the original film’s director and writer, the notorious Roman Polanski.
From a long view, the movie is problematic because, if you strip away all the Satanic trappings, the film is about a woman who gets drugged and raped. That is particularly unsettling as, famously, Polanski was later charged with drugging & raping a girl. Rosemary's baby was a massive success.

24 de may. de 2024 · OMG I had no idea that Ira’s son had a website for his dad’s work, I’m going to check it out. Rosemary’s baby has been one of my favorite films and I guess I just finally felt like reading the book, and it was surprisingly as good as the film (I love Roman Polanski films) – and I studied film in my younger days.
