Act three, November 11, 1975, saw the Governor-General take action and dismiss Whitlam and his government. For many Australians the day of the dismissal is remembered as a moment of unique drama in their lives. To them, it shaped their political attitudes and changed their understanding of how the political system works in Australia.
29 de sept. de 2022 · The dismissal. On 11 November 1975 Gough Whitlam proposed an immediate ‘half Senate’ election in order to break the stalemate. This measure was not granted, and in a dramatic and controversial decision Governor-General Sir John Kerr instead dismissed the Whitlam government and appointed Liberal leader Malcolm Fraser as caretaker prime minister.

This does not need to be a formal enquiry. The employer should notify the employee of the allegations using a form and language that the employee can reasonably understand.
