Lady Augusta Boyle was born in 1801, and married, in 1821, Captain (afterwards Lord) Frederick Fitzclarence, second brother of the late Earl of Munster. They had issue four children, of whom three died in infancy; and one, Augusta Georgiana Frederica, died in 1855.
FitzClarence succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Munster on the suicide of his father, on 20 March 1842.
