Jackson, Wilfred (“Jaxon”) (1906-1988) He joined Disney in 1928 and worked on Steamboat Willie. He served as an animator, director, and as producer-director on the Disneyland television show. He pioneered a method of pre-timing animation with sound, and invented the bar sheet to coordinate the animation action with the sound track.
