Ella fue la primera favorita de Luis XIV, que pasó más desapercibida y la que se llevó la peor parte, así pues, empiezo este blog, con Luisa de La Vallière (Louise Françoise de La Baume Le Blanc, Luisa Francisca en castellano), también llamada Sor Luisa de la Misericordia.
A pesar de no ser reina, Luisa gozó de una posición privilegiada en la corte. El rey le otorgó el título de duquesa de La Vallière y le colmó de regalos y honores. Su influencia en la corte era notable, incluso en asuntos políticos.
