uncle meat - 12" vinyl record 2 lp set - this is the very first withdrawn pressing with mistakes that when seen by frank sent him into a petulant frenzy and visit to the record company offices - first of all, this was the first mothers album released by warner / reprise after frank gave verve records the shaft.

A two hour extravaganza (if you listen to the expanded CD version, which you should) from Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, even half of an album from the same crew can be difficult to put into words.

28 de dic. de 2023 · Uncle Meat is één van de meest bizarre albumervaringen die je kan krijgen op het gebied van Zappa, maar tegelijkertijd ook één van zijn beste en waarschijnlijk de meest avontuurlijke. Het schiet alle kanten op, maar tegelijkertijd is er over elke seconde op het album nagedacht om er een complete ervaring van te maken.
Uncle Meat (who never really cared for Bimbo) takes him by surprise, grabs his head and stuffs the unit up his nose. Bimbo collapses, unconscious on the floor. Uncle Meat explains to the audience that when he throws the switch on the wall, the minds of his victims will be completely reprogrammed with the details of his master plan.
