Alice Roosevelt Longworth (1884-1980) was an influential and controversial American socialite, writer, and political commentator. She was born into the prominent Roosevelt family, as the eldest daughter of President Theodore Roosevelt and Alice Hathaway Lee.

Her mother and paternal grandmother died two days later. Her aunt, Anna Roosevelt, raised her until her father married Edith Kermit Carow in December 1886.
